The Basic Housecall visit uses a morning,afternoon or evening slot. Each slot is apporximately 2-3 hours of work performed so please expect the technician to be there for 2-3 hours. Housecalls must be paid upon being scheduled. A consultation of no more than 20 minutes is included where you can feel free to ask questions to the technician before they set off to perform thier services.The following services are performed:
- Initial Diagnostics
A tech will arrive to his appointment and make a initial record of your computer and peripherals. - Full Offsite Backups
Others talk about the importance of backups but we make sure you have it done. We will create a sealed disk based backup of your computer and keep it safely offsite. You may opt to have your disks kept at your home. If you need to recover your system we will send your disks to you with instructions on how to recover your computer. - Antivirus Installation
We have tested and found Norton 360 version 4 to be the best all around product to protect your system without taking too many valuable resources doing so. We install and configure a complete full version of Norton 360. A full year subscription is included! - Updates/Service Packs
A vital step in the upkeep of your computer is updates of the operating system. We will make sure you are fully up to date with all the latest operating system service packs and updates. We'll also make sure they are scheduled to keep them up to date. - System Optimization
Most people start to notice thier computer slow down over time. Instead of throwing away money on constant upgrades, why not keep your system clean and organized. We install Advanced System Care to perform this service. This superb software will keep your operating system in top shape. Very easy to use and we will do the first run for you! - Hardware Cleaning
Dust can really add to the heat problem of your system and can ultimately damage your hardware. We open your computer up and give it a good cleaning. We also clean your monitor, keyboard, mouse, and printer to really give it that brand new feel back. Taking care of your equiptment really helps to make it last longer and perform better. - Suggest Extended Services
After the tech is done, the tech will go over what has done and present some other option services you would benefit from. Important things like the proper set-up of your network and additional hardware and/or software you might benefit from.
